SAP PLM System Architect with ERP
Location: St. Louis MO or weekly M-F travel to St. Louis MO

Role Overview:
The PLM to SAP Architect is a specialized IT professional responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the integration between Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. This role requires a deep understanding of both PLM and SAP technologies, as well as strong architectural and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop robust integration solutions between PLM systems and SAP ERP.
2. Create and maintain technical documentation for PLM-SAP integration architecture.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment between PLM and SAP systems.
4. Develop and implement data migration strategies between PLM and SAP systems.
5. Optimize existing integrations for improved performance and efficiency.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
7. Ensure data consistency and integrity across PLM and SAP systems.
8. Stay current with the latest PLM and SAP technologies and best practices.
9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
10. Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in PLM and SAP integration projects.
3. Strong knowledge of PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia) and SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, QM).
4. Expertise in integration technologies and protocols (e.g., APIs, web services, EDI).
5. Proficiency in programming languages relevant to PLM and SAP integration (e.g., ABAP, Java, Python).
6. Solid understanding of data modeling and database management.
7. Experience with SAP integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration).
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in a relevant field.
2. SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Integration).
3. PLM certification (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, or Enovia certifications).
4. Experience with cloud-based PLM and SAP solutions.
5. Knowledge of industry-specific processes and regulations (e.g., automotive, aerospace, manufacturing).
