Job Title: Senior Terraform DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Terraform DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and platform engineering. This role will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure environments using Terraform within enterprise-grade cloud ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Terraform, cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure governance. This position requires close collaboration with DevOps, security, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable infrastructure solutions across cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and standardized Infrastructure as Code frameworks
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud resources including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security components
• Establish and maintain scalable, modular, and reusable infrastructure patterns across environments
• Manage Terraform state configurations, remote backends, locking mechanisms, and workspace strategies

Cloud Platform Engineering

• Deploy and support cloud infrastructure primarily within Google Cloud Platform environments
• Implement cloud-native infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Collaborate with platform engineering and application teams to enable scalable and resilient cloud services
• Optimize infrastructure configurations for availability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

CI/CD & DevOps Enablement

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines integrating Terraform deployments and infrastructure validation
• Integrate infrastructure automation into DevOps workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Support GitOps and automation best practices for infrastructure delivery and release management
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and infrastructure-related pipeline issues

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Implement infrastructure security controls and cloud governance standards
• Apply policy-as-code and security best practices across cloud environments
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements
• Maintain IAM policies, role-based access controls, and secure infrastructure configurations

Operational Support & Standardization

• Provide support for infrastructure incidents, troubleshooting, and environment stabilization activities
• Monitor and improve infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency
• Drive IaC standards, automation best practices, and reusable architecture frameworks across teams
• Document infrastructure designs, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering
• Advanced hands-on expertise with Terraform in enterprise cloud environments
• Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation methodologies
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • Azure DevOps
  • GitLab CI/CD
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Cloud networking
  • IAM and security best practices
  • Infrastructure provisioning
  • Automation frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Strong experience with Git-based version control systems
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Kubernetes platforms such as:
  • GKE
  • EKS
  • AKS
• Exposure to containerized environments and orchestration technologies
• Experience supporting multi-cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructures
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
• Knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and operational best practices
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred:
  • HashiCorp Terraform Associate
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
  • AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications
  • DevOps Engineer Certifications
