UX Sr Researcher:
Seeking a UX Researcher passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences through rigorous usability testing and human-centered design.
In this position, you will conduct design research in collaboration with clients, product managers, designers, developers and other researchers.
This role requires a deep understanding of human-centered design principles and design research methods with demonstrated ability to apply research insights to product and design decisions with excellent communication skills. On this team, we practice a focused, just enough research approach in a fast-paced environment by designing targeted tests to quickly generate learnings to inform the next iteration. Looking for someone with UX and research fluency and an analytical mindset that wants to represent UX Research across the project. As part of a blended team with product, designers and developers, you will contribute to discussions, align on goals, and ground decisions in UX principles, prior insights, and the research you plan and deliver. As part of the UX Research team, you will collaborate with other UX researchers to share your strengths, learnings and best practices. You will play a vital role in shaping and evolving UX Research on this project. Responsibilities Understand project needs and requirements at nascent stages, in ambiguous scenarios, to define research goals Develop appropriate research / testing plan to answer key questions/hypotheses Conduct moderated and unmoderated testing, including developing testing materials, set-up, analysis plans, and learnings Analyze research findings and present key insights connected to user needs, product goals, available quantitative data, existing research, competitor analysis, and secondary research as inputs into evidence-based design improvements Partner closely with product managers, designers, developers and researchers to refine ways of working to integrate research findings into the product design and development process. Effectively manage and communicate research approach, methodologies, timelines, insights, and recommendations to client, account, project and design teams Act as a strong UX research advocate by making and communicating recommendations for what needs be tested (and not), what can be tested (and why), and accurately representing the learnings. Apply user-centered design principles and accessibility standards to inform and evaluate existing and proposed designs Continuously identify opportunities to improve research approach to optimize the speed, accuracy, and value of research by staying up to date on latest UX research tools, methodologies, and best practices

Requirements : Masters/Bachelors degree in psychology, behavioral science, anthropology, human-computer interaction or related design discipline; experience designing and conducting experiments is a plus
3-5 years of qualitative design research experience in a UX research role, with demonstrated success driving tangible outcomes and advocating for the user experience in a non-academic setting; Healthcare industry experience preferred
Experience using a variety of UX research methods (e.g, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), heuristic evaluation, A/B testing, task analysis, survey design, and insights to action sessions
Proficiency with UX research tools (e.g., UserZoom/UserTesting) and familiarity with prototyping tools a plus (e.g, Figma)
Understanding of human-centered design principles and accessibility standards; experience with assistive technology a plus
