Role Overview
This position is for a Delivery and Release Manager who will own the end-to-end software release delivery process. You will drive Agile execution across multiple teams, acting as the central coordinator between engineering and business stakeholders. The role focuses on process improvement, ensuring release quality, and mitigating risks within a dynamic technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, from planning and execution to post-release activities.
- Build and maintain comprehensive release schedules and calendars.
- Align timelines across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure synchronized delivery.
- Coordinate release execution with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams.
- Conduct release retrospectives and track root cause analysis (RCA) progress.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines or quality.
- Maintain delivery data and documentation in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams.
- Support broader engineering processes, including planning, estimation, demand intake, and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Release or Delivery Management role using Agile methodology.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in a technology-related field.
- Demonstrated experience with release retrospectives, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and release documentation.
Skills:- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence is required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Stash) and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global teams.
- Background in coordinating multiple engineering teams and releases simultaneously.
- A strong mindset for process improvement.
