Role: Java with Snowflake developer
Location: Hybrid Onsite Atlanta, GA
Duration: Long term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Work with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform for data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize Snowflake workloads.
- Integrate Snowflake with Java applications and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow best coding practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance improvements.
- Ensure security and data governance best practices in Snowflake.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Java (Java 8+)
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Inc. (Snowflake Data Warehouse)
- Strong SQL skills and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms
- Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, or similar)
- Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
