Workday HRIS Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday HRIS Analyst in Houston, TX.

Summary:
The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as the functional subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM, leading configuration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of Core HCM processes throughout the employee lifecycle. This role manages the full lifecycle of Workday initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support while ensuring data integrity and scalable HR solutions.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary functional owner for Workday Core HCM
* Support and optimize employee lifecycle processes, including Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, Termination, and Organizational Assignments
* Configure and maintain business processes, validations, condition rules, notifications, and worker data management
* Lead Workday enhancements, releases, and projects from design through production support
* Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Legal, IT, and global stakeholders to deliver business solutions
* Troubleshoot complex system, process, and data issues through root cause analysis
* Support Workday biannual releases, testing, and feature adoption
* Identify automation and process improvement opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 10+ years of HRIS experience supporting Workday Core HCM
* Strong experience with Workday business process configuration, worker data, organizational structures, and lifecycle transactions
* Experience supporting implementations, enhancements, releases, and production support
* Knowledge of Workday integrations with Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Learning, Time Tracking, Security, and Integrations
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Workday Core HCM certification preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
