Summary

Gejits Infotech Inc is seeking a Reports Developer / Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in report development, data analysis, and dashboard creation, with hands-on knowledge of Cognos, SQL, R, AWS, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with ETL processes is preferred, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance reports using Cognos
Analyze data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
Design and build interactive dashboards and visual reports
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries
Work with large datasets in data warehouse environments
Use R for data analysis, modeling, or reporting as needed
Support data storage, reporting, and analytics solutions in AWS
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather reporting requirements
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report reliability

Required Skills:

Experience with Cognos report development
Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience with R
Familiarity with AWS
Understanding of data warehouse structures and concepts
Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ETL tools/processes
(preferred, but not mandatory)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analysis roles
