JD:
· The Data Architect defines and governs the technical architecture for the Symphony platform, ensuring scalable, performant, metadata driven data engineering solutions aligned with TCCC’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Own the end to end data architecture for Symphony Phase 2.
· Define data models, integration patterns, and warehousing structures.
· Ensure alignment with metadata driven framework and reusable design patterns.
· Guide Spark/Scala development best practices for local first development.
· Lead optimization and refactoring of Phase 1 components.
· Support migration planning from Synapse to Fabric.
· Conduct design reviews and ensure architectural compliance.
· Collaborate with the Delivery Lead and Data Engineers to translate requirements into technical designs.
Technical Skills
· 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or platform design.
· Deep expertise in Spark, Scala, distributed compute, and data warehousing.
· Strong Azure experience (Synapse, Data Lake, Fabric).
· Experience designing metadata driven or rules based architectures.
· Strong performance tuning and optimization background.
· Marketing data domain knowledge.
· Experience with automation first engineering cultures.
· Architectural consistency and scalability.
· Reduction in rework and technical debt.
· Performance improvements across pipelines and models.
