Location: 100% Remote

Job Type : W2 Contract (No third Party)

Experience : 13-20 years

 

Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer with deep NGINX expertise to design, implement, and optimize high-performance application delivery architectures across multi-cloud environments.

 

This role requires advanced knowledge of network infrastructure design principles combined with specialized experience in NGINX deployment patterns and configuration optimization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Architect and implement and support cloud-native NGINX solutions for application delivery, load balancing, and API gateway functions

Design scalable, resilient network architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments

Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates for automated NGINX deployment and configuration management

Optimize NGINX performance for high-throughput, low-latency application delivery

Implement advanced traffic management solutions including content-based routing, SSL termination, and request transformation

Develop automation frameworks for network provisioning and configuration management

Collaborate with security teams to implement robust application protection strategies

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

5+ years of hands-on experience with NGINX/NGINX Plus in enterprise environments

7+ years of network architecture experience with significant cloud infrastructure focus

Deep understanding of modern application delivery patterns and microservice architectures

Expert knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, VNets, subnets, security groups)

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)

Strong understanding of web protocols, TLS, and application security principles

Experience with container networking and service mesh technologies

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation development

Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure deployment.
