This position is for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer responsible for hands-on development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications within a global financial crimes environment. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting programs while collaborating with business partners to define requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met. The developer will partner with technology teams to implement target architecture and support migration to strategic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications and activities.
- Engage in hands-on development to enhance and maintain software solutions.
- Work closely with business partners to define application requirements.
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement strategic architecture.
- Ensure performance and reliability of data-intensive applications.
- Utilize agile methodologies for software development processes.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 8 to 10 years of full-stack experience in Java end-to-end application development.
- 4+ years of experience with Angular.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in core Java, including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC.
- Knowledge of Java profiling tools and performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Teradata.
Education:- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Elastic, Hadoop, or other big data distributed ecosystems.
- Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing principles.
- Background in enterprise stress testing.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.06 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and geographic location.
