Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Java expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will work on designing, building, and maintaining high-priority, highly-available applications that support corporate treasury and business goals. This role involves partnering with key stakeholders and technology teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle to meet business requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrations with external systems.
- Develop responsive and dynamic UI components using frameworks such as Angular.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and perform code reviews.
- Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to deliver high-performance applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and container-based architectures.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience as a full-stack Java developer.
Technical Skills:- Strong experience in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Angular, and NodeJS.
- Proficiency with Oracle and SQL.
- Working experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Ansible.
- Design and development experience in web services using RESTful web API and JSON.
- Experience with modern application architecture including Containers, Microservices, and Cloud.
- Familiarity with Tomcat or Apache application servers.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Skilled in unit testing or Test-Driven Development using Junit and karma-jasmine.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working experience in OpenShift, Unix, Kafka, and Splunk.
- Experience with Python and Quartz.
- Background in data analytics or modelling.
- Financial services industry knowledge in areas such as Capital Markets, Hedging, or Cash Management.
