Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Java J2EE Developer to join a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE development, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, TDD, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security best practices. This role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and continuously improving enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Java/J2EE applications.
- Apply software design principles and development best practices to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Implement and support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
- Develop high-quality code using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Work on cloud-based application development and deployment initiatives.
- Ensure application resiliency, performance, scalability, and security standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 10 to 13years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and J2EE application development.
- Experience across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Cloud Development
- Knowledge of application resiliency and application security practices.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software engineering disciplines including:
- Business Analysis
- Application Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Maintenance
- Continuous Improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and deployment environments.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
- Experience building highly available and resilient enterprise applications.
