Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support for end users in a Windows-based enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, Microsoft 365 applications, and Active Directory while delivering exceptional customer service and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for Windows 10 users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, image, deploy, and maintain HP desktops and laptops using PXE imaging technologies.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive.
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, group memberships, and access permissions through Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Teams collaboration and communication tools.
  • Provide remote support using Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance, and other remote management tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Citrix environments and remote application access.
  • Support iPhones and mobile devices, including setup, troubleshooting, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot multifunction printers and peripheral devices.
  • Support web browsers including Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer for business applications.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within the organization's ticketing system.
  • Assist with workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, equipment moves, and technology upgrades.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with Active Directory user administration.
  • Experience imaging and deploying desktop and laptop computers using PXE or similar imaging tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting HP desktops, laptops, and related hardware.
  • Familiarity with Remote Desktop and remote support technologies.
  • Experience supporting multifunction printers and other end-user peripherals.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Citrix environments.
  • Experience supporting iPhones and mobile device management solutions.
  • Knowledge of hardware deployment and asset management processes.
  • CompTIA A+ or other relevant technical certifications.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
