JOB SUMMARY The Senior AWS Cloud Network Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable network architectures in AWS and/or Azure. This role requires leading client workshops, presenting solutions, and guiding teams through critical architecture decisions for cloud-native and hybrid networking solutions. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the architect will provide guidance on complex cloud networking issues and escalations. Key Responsibilities Design cloud-native networking architectures (Azure and/or AWS). Lead client workshops for requirements gathering, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs. Implement hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect/AWS Direct Connect). Define patterns for routing, segmentation, traffic management, and DNS. Partner with cloud, security, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions. Create architecture diagrams, HLD/LLDs, and supporting documentation. Serve as the SME for complex cloud networking and escalations. Required Qualifications 5+ years of cloud networking architecture experience (Azure, AWS, or both). Strong background in VNet/VPC design, routing, segmentation, and traffic inspection. Experience with Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, Hub & Spoke; and/or AWS Transit Gateway, Route 53, Security Groups, NACLs. Hybrid connectivity experience (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect/AWS Direct Connect). Knowledge of cloud-native load balancers and DNS solutions. Hands-on implementation experience with cloud networking components across major platforms, including virtual networks/subnets, security controls, routing constructs, hybrid connectivity, load balancers, firewalls/WAF, and DNS services. Understanding of Zero Trust principles and cloud network security. Experience with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to translate technical designs into business-focused recommendations. Experience engaging stakeholders to drive architecture decisions.
