Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Systems Analyst / Data Engineer to support enterprise data integration, ETL development, and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica, Snowflake SQL, data warehousing, and Agile delivery methodologies.
This role will collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineering teams to design scalable data solutions, automate data acquisition processes, and support enterprise reporting and business intelligence efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to recommend scalable data solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL and data integration workflows.
- Build and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS.
- Develop complex Snowflake SQL queries, views, and materialized views.
- Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams on data modeling and architecture initiatives.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of ETL and database solutions.
- Create technical documentation, specifications, and process flows.
- Support deployment automation, CI/CD processes, and operational activities.
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive and regulated data environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of ETL development experience using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
- 8+ years of experience integrating data from multiple technologies and platforms.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake SQL development and query optimization.
- Experience with data warehousing, analytics, and enterprise reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with technical documentation and modeling tools such as Visio or Erwin.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level software solutions across multiple teams.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with healthcare or regulated industry environments.
- Knowledge of PII/PHI data handling practices.
- Experience with Tableau or business intelligence tools.
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Familiarity with JIRA.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with MuleSoft integrations.
- Exposure to AI-enabled platforms such as Snowflake Cortex or Informatica Claire.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
