Role: Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner

Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA)/PO with GBD business experience and hands on expertise in advanced SQL/data analysis. The ideal candidate should be able to bridge business and technology teams, perform deep data analysis, and support end to end requirements gathering, validation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a Business Systems Analyst /PO supporting initiatives
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Perform hands on data analysis using SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, TEs, and performance optimized queries
* Analyze data discrepancies, trends, and patterns to support business decisions
* Validate data outputs, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy and data integrity
* Support data driven use cases, integrations, and downstream system consumption
* Participate in UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and signal off
* Work closely with developers, QA, and data teams for end to end delivery
Required Skills & Experience:
* 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
* Knowledge in GBD business
* Hands on expertise in SQL, including complex queries for data analysis.
* Solid understanding of data models, relational databases, and data flows
* Experience working with large datasets and supporting data analytics / reporting use cases
* Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Ability to clearly articulate requirements to both technical and non technical stakeholders
* Experience with requirement tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
Nice to Have
* Exposure to data warehousing or reporting tools
* Experience working in healthcare or insurance environments
* Understanding of ETL processes and upstream/downstream data dependencies
* Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
