Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HRMS OCM (Oracle Compensation & Payroll) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional and technical background in Oracle HCM Cloud, with deep expertise in the Payroll and Compensation modules. You will work closely with HR, IT, and Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements, design solutions, and lead implementations from configuration to post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Solution Design: Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with a primary focus on Payroll and Compensation. Capture client requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Payroll and Compensation solutions.
  • Configuration: Configure and support Oracle HCM Payroll modules including Elements, Balances, Payroll Flows, Costing, and QuickPay. Configure and implement Oracle HCM Cloud Compensation and/or Benefits modules, including compensation structures, eligibility profiles, and benefits plans.
  • Fast Formula Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain Payroll Fast Formulas (Earnings, Deductions, Absence, Proration, Elements Eligibility Rules, and Validation).
  • Integration & Data Management: Work with integration teams on HCM Extracts, HDL loads, and OIC integrations. Support data conversion activities, including element entry uploads, costing data, and payroll mapping.
  • Testing & Support: Lead UAT, regression, and parallel payroll testing cycles. Provide L2/L3 support for payroll and compensation issues. Open, manage, and resolve Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and enhance OTBI and BI Publisher reports for payroll and compensation reporting needs.
  • Documentation & Training: Prepare and maintain configuration workbooks, test scripts, and user manuals. Conduct end-user training and support.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless integration between compensation/benefits and payroll systems. Coordinate with Functional Leads, Technical Teams, and Client HR/Payroll teams.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree
  • Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience, including Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. Completed at least 2 full project lifecycles of HCM modules implementation.

Technical Skills:

  • Core: Strong hands-on configuration knowledge in Core HR, Compensation, and Payroll.
  • Fast Formulas: Strong expertise in Fast Formulas (Payroll, Absence, Benefits, HCM Extract, and Elements).
  • Integration Tools: Experience with HDL, HCM Extracts, and OIC integrations.
  • Reporting: Experience with BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and SQL for troubleshooting.
  • Functional Skills: Solid understanding of payroll processes (payroll run, costing, retro pay, tax calculations) and compensation structures. Knowledge of payroll legislative rules and statutory compliance.
  • Professional Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and client-facing abilities. Ability to work independently and manage priorities. Experience in Agile or Waterfall delivery frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll or Compensation Certification.
  • Prior consulting experience with global payroll implementations.
  • Experience with other Oracle HCM modules (Absence Management, Time & Labor, Benefits, Talent Management).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience with multi-country/multi-entity HCM implementations.
