About the Role
Innovar Group is seeking an experienced Design Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale cloud infrastructure program. This role will oversee design coordination and execution for a cutting-edge data center development supporting one of the world’s leading technology companies.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead design management efforts for a large-scale data center construction project.

Coordinate design activities across architecture, engineering, construction, operations, and client stakeholder teams.

Manage design deliverables from preconstruction through construction execution and project delivery.

Review drawings, specifications, design changes, RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation.

Partner with project leadership to ensure design intent is aligned with schedule, budget, constructability, and operational requirements.

Identify design gaps, risks, conflicts, and coordination issues early in the project lifecycle.

Support cross-functional communication between design teams, field teams, contractors, consultants, and ownership representatives.

Drive design coordination meetings, action items, issue resolution, and documentation tracking.

Ensure project teams are aligned on technical requirements, client standards, and mission-critical infrastructure expectations.

Support change management, value engineering, and constructability review efforts.
Required Experience
-
5+ years of experience in data center construction, design management, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.

Prior experience supporting data center, hyperscale, cloud, AI infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects.

Strong design management and cross-functional coordination experience.

Experience leading design efforts through construction, commissioning readiness, and project delivery.

Ability to work effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and operations teams.

Strong understanding of design coordination, constructability, RFIs, submittals, design changes, and project documentation.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience

Experience supporting a Magnificent 7 technology client or similarly complex hyperscale environment.

Background working on large-scale cloud, AI, or high-density data center campuses.

Experience supporting fast-paced, confidential, large-scale infrastructure programs.

Familiarity with mission-critical MEP systems, commissioning coordination, and operational turnover requirements.
