Description: Job Title: Project Engineer - Off-Road VehiclesLocation: Wyoming, MN (100% Onsite)Fully On-SiteLong Term Contract RoleSummary:We are seeking a Project Engineer to support high-visibility off-road vehicle programs within a fast-paced product development environment. This role provides technical and functional leadership across engineering projects, influencing design decisions that directly impact product performance, quality, and market success.
The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and strong collaborator who can guide cross-functional teams toward shared goals while balancing cost, schedule, and performance objectives. This position offers hands-on involvement in innovative product development and the opportunity to shape new capabilities within recreational vehicle platforms.
Required Skills:- Strong influential leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong project management capabilities
- Experience managing BOM costs, tooling investment, and project KPIs
- Ability to influence component and system-level design decisions
- Experience coordinating development, testing, drafting, and fabrication activities
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Pro-E / Creo preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to apply structured product development processes
Qualification:- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of engineering experience, preferably in consumer or recreational product development
- Broad understanding of mechanical engineering principles applied to complex systems
- Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and sound technical judgment
- Quality-focused mindset with strong attention to customer needs
