Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Program Manager III to join their team in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:
* Drive the annual risk assessment process for Company's personal loan and auto loan broker activities, in partnership with Compliance leadership
* Lead scaling of compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring for applicable product areas
* Work cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and lending partners to ensure broker activities are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and partner requirements
* Manage compliance controls (e.g., for state licensing obligations, lien/title release monitoring on paid-off auto loans, and other broker-specific requirements), including mechanisms to detect and alert on compliance risks
* Track and drive remediation of identified issues, including coordinating with stakeholders on corrective action plans and timelines
* Provide status updates to senior management on program build-out progress, timelines, and obstacles

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of compliance experience within fintech, payments, or financial services, or equivalent experience
* CFE, CIA, CRCM, or other professional certifications preferred
* Experience with loan brokering models and related compliance obligations (e.g., state broker licensing, personal loan and/or auto loan lending) strongly preferred
* Experience standing up or scaling compliance programs/CMS elements for new or growing product areas
* Experience providing compliance advisory to business teams and 3rd-party/vendor management
* Knowledge of consumer lending compliance, including familiarity with applicable federal and state regulations such as ECOA, FCRA, TILA, FDCPA, UDAP, GLBA/Privacy, OFAC, and state lending/broker licensing requirements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Proven project management skills and experience collaborating cross-functionally on time-sensitive initiatives
* Ability to work independently - self-starter, enthusiastic and highly motivated

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
