Technical Project/Program Management - Technical Project Manager III

Location: Seattle, Washington (Remote)

COMPENSATION: $73 - $83 HOURLY

Role Overview

The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in fields such as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. This role involves managing complex, cross-organizational infrastructure supply chain projects and owning a front-line technical customer support system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
  • Manage a user help system, creating process documentation and knowledge bases to improve self-service.
  • Proactively identify methods to automate the help system and drive automation and tooling requirements.
  • Provide users with technical front-line support for infrastructure capacity issues.
  • Drive execution of complex cross-organization infrastructure supply chain projects.
Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience: 5+ years of TPM experience in infrastructure or data center environments is required. Experience must include cross-organizational project execution, driving work across multiple teams and organizations.

Technical Skills: Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and conflict resolution skills with engineering stakeholders. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and business and management principles is necessary. The ability to work independently and manage one's time is also required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
  • PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience in owning a front-line technical customer support system.
  • Public cloud experience (hyperscaler compute/capacity).
  • Supply chain or capacity planning exposure.
  • Frontline escalation support for engineering or product teams.
