Manager, Supply Chain Information Systems
Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Information Systems to lead the operation, maintenance, and strategic direction of materials management and supply chain systems within a large healthcare environment. This role is responsible for driving system optimization, supporting operational efficiency, and enabling cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) and related platforms
- Develop and implement system protocols, including vendor and item maintenance, user setup, troubleshooting, and new functionality
- Partner with internal stakeholders and IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and performance
- Lead system-related projects, including implementations, reporting enhancements, and process improvements
- Direct and mentor staff responsible for system operations, reporting, and data management
- Monitor vendor performance, contract compliance, and pricing accuracy using system tools
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and Accounts Payable for system and invoice discrepancies
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training documentation
- Provide training and support to internal teams on system usage and best practices
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required
Experience:
- 5+ years of supply chain information systems management experience in a healthcare environment
- OR 10–15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in progressive leadership roles
- Candidates must have direct experience with both PeopleSoft MMIS and GHX.

- Experience leading and developing teams
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain systems (ERP, purchasing, inventory, reporting)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to implement process improvements and new programs
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be eligible to work on a W-2 basis (no C2C)
- Must be able to pass a background check and occupational health screening (includes flu vaccination)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily desk-based with extensive computer use
- Frequent data entry, reporting, and system navigation
- Occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds)
- Regular sitting, reaching, and fine motor activities
