We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Agile delivery team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bridge business needs with technical solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role throughout the delivery lifecycle—from discovery and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and release—ensuring high-quality, value-driven solutions are delivered.
The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce expertise, exceptional business analysis skills, Agile delivery experience, and a proactive mindset focused on collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Lead and support discovery sessions by engaging stakeholders, asking insightful questions, identifying gaps, and defining clear business requirements.
- Translate business needs into well-defined, delivery-ready user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze current business processes and design future-state solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Create and maintain process flows, gap analyses, data mappings, business requirements, and functional documentation.
- Ensure complete requirements traceability from business objectives through development, testing, and deployment.
- Challenge ambiguous or incomplete requirements professionally to ensure delivery readiness.
Agile Delivery
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Write high-quality user stories following industry-standard formats and INVEST principles.
- Manage and maintain Jira stories throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver business value.
- Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and cross-functional impacts early and communicate them proactively.
- Ensure stories are complete, testable, and ready for development before entering sprint execution.
Salesforce Analysis
- Analyze Salesforce business processes, system behavior, configuration impacts, integrations, and downstream dependencies.
- Support complex Salesforce and enterprise technology initiatives involving multiple business functions.
- Understand technical implications while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions align with both business and platform best practices.
Quality & Release Support
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, defect triage, and post-release verification.
- Ensure acceptance criteria align with business requirements and testing scenarios.
- Monitor solution quality throughout delivery and validate expected business outcomes are achieved.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation standards, Agile processes, templates, and team efficiency.
- Leverage AI and modern productivity tools where appropriate to improve analysis and delivery quality.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Extensive experience working as a Business Systems Analyst in Agile delivery environments.
- Proven experience supporting complex Salesforce or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Strong experience with discovery, requirements elicitation, documentation, and solution analysis.
- Demonstrated experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
- Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog and requirements management.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery practices.
- Expertise in Business Systems Analysis fundamentals and best practices.
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge, including configuration considerations, business processes, integrations, and system dependencies.
- Ability to assess business impacts and translate technical concepts into business language.
- Strong understanding of requirements traceability and quality management practices.
Certifications (Required)
- Active Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
- Active Salesforce Administrator Certification
