We are currently hiring for one of our direct banking clients for a mid-level Experience Designer to support the Advisor Portal initiative within the Private Bank UX team. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension and possible full-time conversion, and the candidate must be open to permanent hire without visa sponsorship. The role requires 5 days onsite in Orlando, working EST hours. They are looking for a designer with 2 4 years of UX experience who can independently handle the full design lifecycle from research and requirement gathering to wireframing, prototyping (low to high fidelity), usability testing, and developer handoff. Strong expertise in Figma, design systems, accessibility standards, and Agile collaboration is mandatory. Banking or fintech experience is preferred but not required. The most critical requirement is a strong online portfolio that clearly demonstrates end-to-end digital product design and case study presentation skills.

Supports the transformation of tasks into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from the first-time user to the expert.
Identifies and discovers customer and business needs through contextual inquiries, and generative and quantitative research, and identify solutions to meet those needs.
Makes decisions of significant customer impact from wide array of possibilities, not limited to the Banking Industry.
Executes visual, information, interaction, and service design elements of the initiative that meets business and customer needs and delights customers.
Gauges the usability of new and existing products, and make constructive suggestions for change.
Must Have Technical Skills:
Experience working with the Figma suite of design tools (or similar digital prototyping tools)
Proficient in all stages of prototyping design (low, medium, high fidelity)
Ability to gather requirements from users and business stakeholders
Experience working with a design system
Understanding of accessibility fundamentals
Ability to validate designs through user testing
Experience providing actionable feedback to developers, preferably in an agile environment
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
Experience with conducting user interviews, research, and analysis to understand user needs
Understanding of frontend development fundamentals
