Job Description:
Pay Range: $47hr - $52hr
  • The Power Platform Engineer will be responsible for administering and governing the Microsoft Power Platform across the enterprise environment.
  • This role will focus on platform architecture, environment lifecycle management, security governance, and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
  • The candidate will collaborate with IT, security, data, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and compliant while enabling business innovation through low code solutions.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Minimum five years of hands on Power Platform administration and governance experience.
  • Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
  • Deep understanding of Power Platform Admin Center, environment management, governance, and Data Loss Prevention policies.
  • Experience implementing ALM practices including CI/CD pipelines and solution packaging.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, identity management, and enterprise data integrations.
  • Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving skills.
Experience:
  • Experience administering enterprise level Power Platform environments.
  • Experience implementing governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance policies.
  • Experience managing platform performance, monitoring, and capacity planning.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with on premise and cloud data sources.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating with platform support teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Own tenant architecture and environment lifecycle strategy including development, testing, and production environments.
  • Administer Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio including environment configuration and governance controls.
  • Implement and enforce security policies including role based access control, data governance, and Data Loss Prevention policies.
  • Lead application lifecycle management including solution packaging, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and automated deployments.
  • Monitor platform performance, usage metrics, and operational costs while implementing optimization strategies.
  • Manage platform licensing, budgeting, and cost governance activities.
  • Maintain operational documentation including runbooks, governance standards, and incident response procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, compliance, and business teams to ensure platform alignment with enterprise policies.
  • Manage integration with enterprise data sources including on premise and cloud systems through connectors and gateways.
  • Oversee governance and configuration of Copilot Studio agents including monitoring usage and ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and manage Microsoft support engagements when required.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery strategies for platform services and associated data assets.
  • Support platform adoption through training programs, governance communications, and self service capabilities.
  • Lead governance meetings and architecture design reviews with internal teams.
Team Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor a small team of Power Platform administrators.
  • Define team priorities, assign tasks, and manage workloads.
  • Support professional development and knowledge sharing across the team and organization.
Skills:
  • Microsoft Power Platform administration and governance.
  • Cloud platform architecture and lifecycle management.
  • Security, access control, and compliance frameworks.
  • Application lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enterprise data integration and platform monitoring.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working within healthcare or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications or related credentials.
  • Experience implementing data governance programs and compliance reporting.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent practical experience in enterprise Power Platform administration may also be considered.
