In a nutshell

As a RAN Automation Engineer at QC's CAE, you will join the global team of product delivery experts in the Mobile Network Automation domain to meet and exceed the exciting challenges of rapidly evolving mobile networks.

What should you bring?

Mandatory:

• 1-2 years of relevant wireless experience.
• Understanding of RAN, preferably with the following: Performance monitoring, Optimization techniques, Network structure, Interfaces, Provisioning, etc.
• Hands-on experience in the following systems/tools: OSS (multivendor), Mapping-info tools, Windows, Linux, Excel, My SQL, Vertica, Mongo DB, Grafana, Rest API
• Experience with Optimization and Multiband tuning with multi technologies on multi vendors' equipment (Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, and Huawei).
• Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent service-driven, customer-focused skills
  • Experience in building strong relationships with customers' technical teams.
  • Technical presentation skills

Preferably:

• Knowledge of a scientific computing language (such as Python, JavaScript)
• Experience in Network Automation/SON domains
• Experience proposing post-launch optimization changes and tracking improvements towards target KPIs

Personal skills:

• Technical and hands-on orientation, able to learn new engineering fields quickly.
• Ability to work independently and with a team,

a team player spirit.

• languages: English (both written and verbal) - must!

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
