Description Software Engineer - React / GenAI Prototyping
Location: Wayzata, MN
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer (React Developer) to join a cutting-edge GenAI Discovery and Prototyping team, focused on building user-facing applications that integrate advanced AI capabilities into practical business solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on front-end engineer who thrives at the intersection of UI development and emerging AI technologies.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in React and modern front-end development, along with working knowledge of C# and backend systems. This role will focus on connecting prototype AI models to intuitive user experiences while ensuring scalable, maintainable code quality.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development & Experience Design
- Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using React.
- Integrate GenAI prototypes into user-facing applications and workflows.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
Application Development & Integration
- Work with backend systems, including C#, to connect APIs and services.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements.
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code through proper structuring and best practices.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work within Agile teams to deliver features aligned to business goals.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across front-end and application layers
Requirements Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with React and front-end development.
- Working knowledge of C# and backend integration.
- Experience developing scalable, user-facing web applications.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2-3 days onsite in Wayzata, MN).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with or integrating GenAI / AI-based solutions.
- Familiarity with prototyping environments or innovation teams.
- Domain knowledge in animal nutrition or formulation (nice to have).
- Experience in Agile development environments.
