bout the Role
We are seeking a dynamic AI Product Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced fraud detection solutions for our banking client. This role requires a strong blend of product management expertise, domain knowledge in financial services, and technical understanding of AI/ML models applied to fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the product vision for AI-driven fraud detection solutions.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap aligned with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and emerging fraud trends.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with banking stakeholders, compliance teams, and fraud operations to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements.
- AI/ML Integration
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to design, train, and deploy fraud detection models.
- Ensure solutions are explainable, scalable, and compliant with banking regulations.
- Execution & Delivery
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, requirements gathering, prioritization, development, testing, and rollout.
- Monitor product performance and continuously improve detection accuracy and efficiency.
- Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (AML, KYC, GDPR, RBI/PCI guidelines).
- Build frameworks for ethical AI use and bias mitigation in fraud detection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in banking or fintech.
- Strong understanding of fraud detection techniques (transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, behavioral analytics).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and model deployment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of fraud detection tools (Actimize, SAS, FICO Falcon, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of real-time transaction monitoring systems.
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks in banking and financial services.
