Project Manager (PMP)

This is 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee,FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience

Certifications:

1.      Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification  -MUST

2.      Certification in a recognized change management methodology (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) is highly preferred;

3.      Certification in Agile or Scrum-based project management (e.g., PMI Agile Certified Practitioner [PMI-ACP] or Certified Scrum Master [CSM]); highly preferred

4.      Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations ; highly preferred

Required Experience:

1.      Experience managing successful, large-scale projects involving multiple diverse workstreams;

2.      Experience in OCM methodologies, strategy development, and implementation;

3.      Experience utilizing enterprise project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Jira) to track and maintain complex project schedules;

4.      Experience applying formal project management methodologies and maintaining Project Management Office (PMO) documentation standards;

5.      Experience in proactive risk mitigation and issue management;

6.      Experience facilitating high-level stakeholder meetings and developing technical project documentation;

7.      Proven track record of creating and presenting executive-level status reports to internal and external stakeholders;

8.      Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams and lead complex modernization initiatives to successful completion;

9.      Advanced leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills; and

10.  Superior written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels

Preferred Experience:

1.      Experience managing complex projects with a large, geographically distributed user base;

2.      Proven experience managing Florida state government projects, including a thorough working knowledge of Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C;

3.      Experience managing vendor projects and working with technical programming teams;

4.      Demonstrate initiative and a proactive leadership style to effectively resolve complex program issues;

5.      Knowledge of IT standards within a criminal justice environment;

6.      Skills in negotiation, mediation, group facilitation, and team building;

7.      Dynamic and collaborative approach with a diligent work ethic and a committed focus on team success; Proficient in using the ServiceNow and DocuSign platforms
