We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager / Project Lead to support a high-impact data engineering and AI initiative within a large enterprise environment. This role will lead cross-functional coordination across business and technical teams, driving project execution for data, analytics, cloud, and AI-focused programs. The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise project leadership experience, a background in data-driven technology initiatives, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex technical projects from planning through execution. PMP certification is required. Hybrid work environment; local Texas candidates only.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects focused on data engineering, analytics, and AI initiatives
  • Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and overall execution
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and align project objectives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, developers, analysts, and business partners
  • Track project progress, resource allocation, budgets, and financial status reporting
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, issue resolution, and executive communications
  • Maintain project documentation including project plans, schedules, status reports, and key deliverables
  • Support enterprise data initiatives involving data architecture, warehousing, analytics, and cloud platforms
  • Drive collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and proactively manage project dependencies
  • Support AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives where applicable
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise delivery processes, governance, compliance, and SDLC standards




qualifications:

Qualifications:


10+ years of experience leading complex technical projects or enterprise programs in data, analytics, cloud, or enterprise IT environments


Proven experience delivering data engineering, data warehousing, data architecture, business intelligence, or analytics initiatives


Strong technical project management experience with scope, schedule, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management


Experience leading cross-functional teams across technical, business, and vendor organizations


Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and project financial reporting


Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and enterprise data platforms


Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet


Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive stakeholder communication


Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language


Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently


PMP certification required


Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, or large-scale technology environments preferred


Experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives preferred


Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred


Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, or CCDA is a plus


Additional certifications such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, TOGAF, or AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform are a plus


Must be local to Texas and able to work in a hybrid environment
