Lead Business Intelligence & Data Integration Analyst

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Lead enterprise BI and data integration initiatives across Salesforce, ERP, MDM, data warehouse, Power BI, Fabric, and other analytics platforms.

·        Serve as a technical lead for Salesforce Life Science Cloud, CRM Analytics, and downstream BI integration work.

·        Design, develop, and maintain data models, semantic models, dataflows, and curated datasets that support enterprise reporting and analytics.

·        Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into actionable technical specifications.

·        Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.

·        Support ETL processes, job dependencies, pipeline monitoring, and production issue resolution across business-critical reporting systems.

·        Provide SME support for sales reporting, geography alignment, service contracts, customer data, and other core commercial reporting domains.

·        Support MDM and Syniti-related data initiatives, including data validation, mapping logic, integration planning, and governance alignment.

·        Assist with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI modernization efforts, including migration of legacy datasets, cubes, reports, and data marts.

·        Partner with data engineering and application teams to ensure data is accurate, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

·        Troubleshoot reporting, cube, data warehouse, Insight, DSR, and integration-related issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.

·        Support SQL Server performance tuning efforts, including investigation of high-cost workloads, batch jobs, and long-running queries.

·        Guide BI developers and analysts on data structures, joins, business logic, and reporting best practices.

·        Support ServiceNow intake, evaluation, prioritization, and assignment for BI and data-related requests as needed.

·        Assist with UAT, documentation, end-user support, and post-deployment enhancements.

·        Stay current with BI, data integration, cloud analytics, and Microsoft Fabric/Power BI best practices.

Experience:

·        7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data warehouse, reporting, analytics, or data integration roles.

·        Strong SQL Server experience, including complex query development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

·        Experience designing and supporting enterprise reporting datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and analytics solutions.

·        Experience working with ETL processes, dataflows, data marts, cubes, or data warehouse environments.

·        Strong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, and business-rule documentation.

·        Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·        Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across projects and support activities.

·        Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, or modern cloud-based analytics platforms.

·        Experience with Salesforce, CRM Analytics, Life Science Cloud, or other CRM/ERP integration work.

·        Experience with MDM platforms or customer master data processes, including Syniti or similar tools.

·        Experience with Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar ETL/integration technologies.

·        Experience supporting legacy reporting environments, cubes, SSRS, Power BI, and migration/modernization efforts.

·        Exposure to SQL Server tuning, batch job optimization, Control-M, or production reporting support.

·        Experience leading cross-functional projects involving business, IT, external vendors, and data engineering teams.

·        Ability to mentor BI developers, analysts, and technical resources.
