The Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and issuing accurate invoices to customers, reconciling and working with internal teams to address discrepancies. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in Billing or Accounts receivable
  • Experience with billing software and accounting systems
  • Experience w/ process documentation and process improvement
  • Business process enhancement testing and SOX / audit-related projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Preferably experience w/ auditing and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).


Impact You'll Make:

Invoice Management:
  • Prepare, review, and process invoices while
  • Ensuring that billing aligns with contractual terms and agreements.
  • Experience with Electronic Invoice submissions

Data Analysis:
  • Analyze billing data for discrepancies, errors, or anomalies
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve invoicing issues promptly

Compliance and Accuracy:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations
  • Verify and update billing information in the system as needed

Reporting:
  • Generate and analyze reports related to billing, accounts receivable, and revenue
  • Provide regular updates to management on billing performance and metrics

Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with the finance, sales, and customer service teams to address billing queries. Liaise with clients to resolve billing disputes and payment delays.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and High Radius is a plus

Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes for greater efficiency
  • Assist in implementing new billing systems or tools

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
