Job Description:

Experienced SAP EC Payroll Lead Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll configuration, payroll processing, and end-to-end implementations. Responsible for leading payroll solution design, configuration, testing, integrations, and production support. Need experience in SAP EC Payroll/HCM Payroll, specializing in U.S. Payroll implementations and Application Maintenance projects. The consultant will lead end-to-end payroll solution design, requirement gathering, configuration oversight, payroll testing, integrations, cutover activities, and post-production support in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP EC Payroll/HCM Payroll solution design and delivery for U.S. Payroll.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with payroll configurators and integration teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and seamless system integrations.
• Manage payroll implementation lifecycle including configuration, SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs, cutover, and hypercare support.
• Support payroll functionalities including gross-to-net, wage types, off-cycle payroll, garnishments, tax reporting, year-end processing, and accruals.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and support custom payroll rules and operations.
• Provide stakeholder communication, risk management, and project status updates.
• Configure and support Gross-to-Net payroll processing, retro calculations, garnishments, tax models, FLSA, overpayment recovery, GL posting, month-end accruals, and savings plans.
• Develop and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll configurations.
• Manage integrations between SAP EC Payroll and third-party systems.
• Lead requirement gathering, workshops, testing cycles, UAT, parallel payroll, and go-live activities.
• Handle payroll issues, reconciliation, compliance, and production support.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of SAP EC Payroll or SAP HCM Payroll experience with strong U.S. Payroll expertise.
• Experience leading multiple full lifecycle SAP Payroll implementations.
• Strong knowledge of wage type configuration, garnishments, tax reporting, off-cycle payroll, and Tax Factory integration.
• Hands-on experience with payroll testing, parallel payroll runs, and production support.
• Strong client-facing, communication, and leadership skills.
• SAP HCM/SuccessFactors Payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP EC Payroll, schemas, PCRs, wage types, and tax configuration.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP payroll implementations and support projects.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Knowledge of payroll automation and process optimization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, or related field.
