The Senior Director, Enterprise Applications & Business Technology is responsible for leading the execution, delivery, and operation of enterprise applications and business technology platforms across the organization. This role aligns technology strategy with business priorities to enable operational excellence, continuous improvement, and enterprise transformation.
This role leads enterprise application strategy anchored in SAP and an evolving SaaS ecosystem, driving a multi-year ERP roadmap and modernization efforts. The Senior Director partners closely with business and IT leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and integrated solutions across finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions within a food and beverage environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of enterprise applications strategy, including SAP and supporting platform ecosystems
- Develop and advance a multi-year ERP roadmap aligned to business priorities and transformation objectives
- Drive end-to-end delivery of major programs across supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and commercial functions, ensuring alignment to scope, timeline, cost, and value realization
- Oversee operational stability, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms
- Improve system reliability, user experience, and cost efficiency across application environments
- Serve as primary technology partner to business leaders, translating business strategy into technology-enabled capabilities
- Lead escalation management and ensure timely resolution of critical system and business issues
- Drive innovation and modernization across the application landscape through automation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven solutions
- Simplify processes, standardize operations, and reduce cost to serve through scalable technology solutions
- Lead demand intake, prioritization, and portfolio governance to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
- Manage resource planning, financial performance, and vendor and partner relationships
- Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, Data, and Cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable, and integrated solutions
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards across cloud, data, security, and integration platforms
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across enterprise applications and business technology
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise applications and business technology
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience implementing, delivering, and supporting SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA ERP systems
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and enterprise application ecosystems
- Strong domain knowledge in manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, preferably within consumer-packaged goods or food and beverage industries
- Proven track record leading large-scale ERP implementations, transformations, and modernization initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, vendors, and delivering measurable return on investment
- Experience leading global teams and managing strategic partners
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and senior leadership levels
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across business and IT organizations
- Experience driving process simplification, standardization, and measurable business outcomes
Salary: $252,000 plus short-term cash bonus of 30% based on company and individual performance.
