We are seeking an expert Informatica SaaS MDM Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our Master Data Management solutions on the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, consistency, and reliability of our master data across the enterprise, directly impacting project efficiency and financial accuracy.
As a key contributor, you will leverage your deep expertise in IDMC, Elastic Search, data modeling, CDI (Cloud Data Integration), and CAI (Cloud Application Integration) to craft scalable and high-performance MDM architectures. Your work will be instrumental in optimizing resource allocation within our data initiatives and contributing significantly to the success of both performance enhancement (PE) and critical IC projects by ensuring robust data foundations. We anticipate you''ll provide critical technical insights that inform accurate project estimations and financial calculations, enhancing our overall project delivery capabilities.
📝 Key Responsibilities
• Architectural Leadership:
o Lead the design and architectural vision for Informatica SaaS MDM solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and business requirements.
o Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints and technical specifications for MDM implementations on the IDMC platform.
o Advise on best practices for MDM governance, data quality, data security, and compliance within the SaaS ecosystem.
• Informatica IDMC & MDM Expertise:
o Design and implement Informatica MDM solutions within IDMC, including Data Governance & Catalog, Data Quality, and Reference 360 components.
o Configure and optimize MDM hubs, matching rules, survivorship rules, and data stewardship processes.
o Provide expert guidance on the migration strategies from on-premise MDM to SaaS MDM solutions within IDMC.
• Data Integration & Orchestration (CDI & CAI):
o Architect and implement robust data integration pipelines using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) for batch and real-time data ingestion into MDM.
o Design and develop API-led integrations and process orchestrations using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI) to expose MDM services and integrate with other enterprise systems.
o Ensure seamless data flow and process automation between MDM and downstream/upstream applications.
• Data Modeling & Elastic Search:
o Develop and optimize logical and physical data models for master data domains, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and performance within the MDM system.
o Design and implement search and indexing solutions leveraging Elastic Search to enhance MDM capabilities, including fuzzy matching, data discovery, and real-time data access.
o Optimize Elastic Search configurations for performance, scalability, and security.
• Performance & Optimization:
o Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to MDM performance, data quality, and integration.
o Conduct performance tuning and optimization of MDM processes, data loads, and integration flows to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely project delivery.
o Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the MDM architecture is optimized for cloud environments.
• Collaboration & Project Support:
o Work closely with business analysts (like yourself, Gurpreet, in your IC project role), data stewards, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
o Contribute technical insights for project estimation sheets and calculation worksheets, aiding in accurate financial forecasting and resource planning.

Experience 10+ years in Data Architecture, with at least 5+ years specializing in Master Data Management and 3+ years in Informatica SaaS MDM on the IDMC platform.
Informatica IDMC Expert-level proficiency with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) components, specifically MDM (Customer 360, Product 360, Reference 360), Data Governance & Catalog, and Data Quality.
Data Integration Deep expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) for designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT processes, data synchronization, and API integration patterns.
Application Integration Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI) for building real-time APIs, process orchestration, and event-driven architectures to expose and consume MDM services.
Data Modeling Advanced skills in designing and optimizing data models (relational, dimensional, NoSQL) specifically for MDM solutions, including entity-relationship diagrams and conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Elastic Search Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Elastic Search for master data lookup, fuzzy search, data discovery, and performance enhancement within MDM contexts.
Cloud Platforms Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) as they pertain to IDMC deployment and integration, understanding cloud-native services and security best practices.
Architectural Design Ability to create detailed architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and design documents. Strong understanding of architectural patterns, microservices, APIs, and data governance frameworks.

• Certifications in Informatica IDMC or relevant cloud platforms.
• Experience with other MDM solutions or data governance tools.
