Position Overview
Index Analytics is seeking a Salesforce Developer (Mid) to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Salesforce Developer will design and develop Solutions in Salesforce. They will work with Business Analysts, Architects, and other members in the team to help drive innovation using the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities
Contribute to all technical aspects of the project.
Responsible for developing Salesforce applications through all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical designs, implementation, testing, to production deployments.
Ability to quickly learn new features, tools, technologies, and to communicate optimally with various business owners, technical staff members, other Application Development partners, User Exchange Group/Forums.
Help ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Support Proof of Concepts and technical solutioning. Establish technical vision and work with developers to turn it into reality.
Collaborate with all stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of the project.
Good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable solutions.
Qualifications
- Lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform. including Lightning components using the Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components or Lightning Aura Components and Apex (Batch, Controllers, Triggers).
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with declarative development on Salesforce using Workflows, Approval Processes, Process Builder, Flows, etc.
- Previous experience with implementing Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud. Solutions include Live Chat, Knowledge, Case Lifecycle Management, Assignment Rules, Reports and Dashboards, etc.
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud design and development and working with third-party tools and market-place solutions from the AppExchange.
- Understanding and configuration of SAML and oAuth flows as well as the utilization of Salesforce application and platform security tools.
- Salesforce application and platform security tools solutions such as Checkmarx, AppOmni or similar.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce integrations, both point-to-point and middleware.
- Knowledge of GIT and CI/CD is preferred.
