Role Summary (Read Carefully)

Toyota Financial Services is hiring a Tier-1 PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) who operates at a principal / enterprise architect level. This is not a hands-off or advisory role.

This role demands a battle-tested PEGA architect who has personally led multiple large-scale PEGA programs, can walk into a complex enterprise on Day-1, establish architectural authority, build and lead an onsite PEGA team, and deliver production-grade solutions immediately.

If your experience is limited to design reviews, documentation, or “supporting” LSAs — this role is not a fit.

What You Will Own

• Full architectural ownership of PEGA platforms and applications at Toyota Financial.

• Design authority for all PEGA solutions, patterns, and implementations.

• Hands-on delivery leadership — architecture, development, configuration, and optimization.

• Day-1 team formation: build, onboard, mentor, and govern PEGA developers onsite.

• Define and enforce enterprise PEGA standards, guardrails, and governance models.

• Lead complex PEGA integrations across enterprise and legacy systems.

• Drive performance, scalability, security, and production readiness.

• Serve as the technical escalation point for critical design and production issues.

• Partner directly with senior business, product, and technology leadership.

Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions)

• 15+ years of enterprise IT experience with deep architecture leadership.

• PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) Certification – REQUIRED.

• Proven track record as the primary LSA on multiple enterprise PEGA implementations.

• Extremely strong hands-on PEGA experience, including:

  • Case Management & Workflow

  • Data Modeling & Rules Engine

  • UI, Decisioning, and Integration patterns

• Expert-level experience with PEGA integrations:

  • REST / SOAP services

  • Enterprise databases

  • Legacy and third-party systems

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead PEGA teams onsite starting Day-1.

• Deep knowledge of:

  • PEGA guardrails and best practices

  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting

  • Security architecture and access control

• Strong executive-level communication and leadership skills.
