Role: Program Manager / Senior Pre-Sales Consultant (Data & BI)

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite 5 Days/Week)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Senior Pre-Sales Consultant with a strong Data and Business Intelligence (BI) background to lead and manage large-scale BI transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams while ensuring high-quality data governance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale Business Intelligence (BI) and data transformation programs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Analyze complex data structures with a strong focus on data mapping, data attributes, and data quality.
• Review and validate existing data mapping documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform financial reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and project cost estimations.
• Work closely with delivery teams to estimate project effort, resource requirements, and implementation timelines.
• Support pre-sales activities by participating in solution discussions, client presentations, and proposal development.
• Present technical and business solutions effectively to executive stakeholders and clients.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure successful execution of project milestones while maintaining high standards of quality and governance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Pre-Sales, Data Management, or Business Intelligence.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, data attributes, and data governance principles.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale BI or data transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to perform financial reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, and project estimations.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting or client-facing pre-sales engagements.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and enterprise data architecture.
• Familiarity with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are preferred.
