Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a UX Designer - Onshore.

Summary:
Designers on the Design System team contribute to the creation, evolution, and delivery of scalable, human-centered design solutions across web and native platforms. Working in a data-informed, agile environment, Designers collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research partners to ensure consistent, accessible, and high-quality digital experiences that align with member needs. Designer II and Designer III roles differ primarily by depth of experience, level of autonomy, and complexity of work, but both contribute meaningfully to the design system through research, ideation, design execution, and documentation.

Duties:
* Contribute to research, ideation, concepting, prototyping, testing, and delivery of design system components and patterns
* Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business problems and shape design solutions
* Create and document design assets, specifications, and guidance using design system best practices
* Participate in design critiques and reviews, offering and incorporating actionable feedback
* Apply usability, accessibility, and information architecture best practices to ensure high-quality member experiences
* Support human-centered research efforts and synthesize findings to inform design decisions
* Use Figma, Zeroheight, and Atlassian tools to design, document, and manage design system work
* Ensure design risks are identified and addressed in alignment with organizational risk and compliance standards

REQUIREMENTS:
Designer II:
* Experience: 2+ years in Product Design, UX Design, or Service Design delivering complex design systems for web and native applications
* Portfolio: Demonstrates strong attention to detail, experience with design systems, component libraries, and digital product design
* Proficiency with Figma (including variables), design tokens, and modern design system practices
* Experience designing for web and/or mobile platforms, including responsive design and platform conventions
* Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with developers
* Solid understanding of accessibility, usability, and information architecture

Designer III:
* Experience: Up to 2 years in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, Design Research, or Production Design
* Portfolio: Demonstrates foundational understanding of digital experience design for web and mobile
* Working knowledge of industry-standard design, prototyping, and collaboration tools (including Microsoft Office)
* Understanding of basic web and mobile design patterns, navigation, and usability principles
* Strong organizational skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to deliver work on time

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
