Job#: 3013994 Job Description: OverviewWe are seeking a Project Manager with a strong healthcare background to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting regulated healthcare programs and services. This role will manage large-scale projects with significant financial responsibility and will work closely with IT, business, pharmacy, and clinical stakeholders in a hybrid agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare-focused projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, milestone tracking, and KPIs
- Manage multi-million-dollar project budgets, including financial tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting
- Partner with IT teams to deliver system-driven initiatives while coordinating closely with business, pharmacy, and clinical stakeholders
- Lead projects supporting regulated healthcare and medication-related programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational alignment
- Support work within a hybrid agile environment, collaborating with Scrum Masters and agile teams as needed
- Participate in or facilitate agile ceremonies while retaining primary accountability for project management execution
- Utilize tools such as Clarity for resource and time tracking (training available if needed)
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide clear, consistent communication to leadership and stakeholders through status updates and reporting
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with strong fundamentals in planning, execution, and risk management
- Experience in healthcare delivery, pharmacy, clinical operations, or government healthcare programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, and the ability to translate healthcare needs into executable project plans.
- Comfort working with IT teams and leading technology-enabled initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical, operational, and clinical audiences
- Experience working in regulated healthcare environments
Preferred Qualifications- Background supporting Medicaid, Medicare, or similar government healthcare programs
- Pharmacy or clinical experience, including exposure to medication workflows, pharmacy operations, or clinical program support
- Experience working in organizations undergoing agile transformation
- Scrum Master certification or other agile practitioner certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist)
- Familiarity with Clarity or similar projects, resource, or financial tracking tools
- Experience operating in hybrid project management / agile delivery models
