Description
We are looking for a skilled Manager of IT Field Operations to lead technical initiatives and oversee support activities in a dynamic environment. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive efficient solutions. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the position calls for expertise in managing IT systems, fostering collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for IT field operations, ensuring all technical processes align with organizational goals.
Analyze and resolve incidents while managing problems effectively to improve system performance and eliminate inefficiencies.
Identify service gaps and take corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of issues and completion of tasks.
Oversee the administration of Active Directory, including user and group management, and troubleshoot Group Policy configurations.
Develop scalable solutions by evaluating existing systems and adapting processes as necessary.
Collaborate with stakeholders, peers, and leadership to communicate technical strategies and updates clearly.
Maintain and enhance hardware, software, and networking systems to ensure optimal performance.
Implement and manage backup technologies and configuration management tools.
Utilize expertise in Cisco technologies and computer hardware to support and improve IT operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy standards such as or comparable frameworks.
Requirements
Proven ability to communicate effectively with employees, stakeholders, and leadership across all levels.
Demonstrated experience as a technical leader with a strong track record of delivering scalable IT solutions.
Solid understanding of hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications fundamentals.
High-level knowledge of security, systems administration, and network infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Servers, SANs, and Active Directory administration.
Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Familiarity with backup technologies, configuration management, and Cisco technologies.
Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills to evaluate systems and adapt processes as needed.
