About the Opportunity

Join a large-scale semiconductor construction project in Taylor, Texas, supporting the buildout of a multi-phase manufacturing facility. This role serves as a key liaison between project stakeholders, engineering teams, and subcontractors to ensure electrical construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

This is a hands-on field leadership position that requires both technical expertise and strong coordination skills in a fast-paced, multicultural construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
Construction Execution & Supervision
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities, including:
    • Electrical wiring
    • Conduit installation
    • Panel installation
    • Instrumentation and controls work
    • Testing and commissioning support
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Conduct field inspections and verify installation quality.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders regarding electrical construction activities.
Schedule & Progress Management
  • Track construction progress and support schedule adherence.
  • Review project schedules, inspection documentation, and construction reports.
  • Confirm inspection readiness and support inspection requests.
  • Provide recommendations to resolve construction issues and schedule impacts.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Verify compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and project standards.
  • Review quality documentation, inspection test plans (ITPs), procedures, and records.
  • Monitor non-conformance issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Inspect incoming materials and verify proper material storage conditions.
  • Conduct quality reviews of fabricated equipment, products, and shop work.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Communicate deficiencies, code violations, and corrective actions.
  • Support final inspection readiness and turnover activities.
Required Qualifications
Experience

Candidates should meet one of the following backgrounds:

Option 1: Field Progression Path
  • Electrician, helper, or trade professional who advanced into a Foreman/Supervisor role.
  • Typically 2-10 years of experience after reaching the Foreman level.

Option 2: Engineering Path
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant construction or industrial electrical experience.
Technical Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical construction, industrial projects, or plant construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • NEC (National Electrical Code)
    • OSHA regulations
    • Electrical codes and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret:
    • Electrical schematics
    • Construction drawings
    • Technical specifications
  • Experience reviewing and working with DWG files.
  • Knowledge of construction contract documents and technical drawings.
Professional Skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Engineer.
  • Experience supporting projects exceeding $50M in construction value.
  • Semiconductor, industrial manufacturing, or oil & gas project experience.
  • Experience using Trimble software.
  • Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, or similar technical certifications.
  • International or multicultural project experience.
Work Environment
  • 100% onsite role located in Taylor, Texas.
  • Construction field office environment.
  • Expected to spend approximately 20% to 80% of the workday in active construction areas.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in field conditions as required.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when project demands require.
