What You'll Do
- Engineer, maintain, and scale enterprise storage platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage block, file, and object storage solutions while ensuring performance, availability, and efficiency.
- Develop automation for storage provisioning, lifecycle management, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions focused on storage health, capacity, and performance.
- Partner with application teams to guide storage architecture decisions and establish best practices.
- Drive disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives through automated testing and validation processes.
- Establish governance standards, acceptable usage patterns, and operational controls across storage environments.
- Troubleshoot complex storage, networking, and operating system issues in Linux and Windows environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support critical infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Champion engineering best practices, automation, and operational excellence across the organization.

What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting large-scale storage environments.
- Strong expertise with enterprise file, block, and object storage technologies.
- Deep understanding of storage protocols, performance tuning, and operating system interactions.
- Experience supporting low-latency or high-performance computing environments.
- Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
- Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and modern infrastructure operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetApp, Pure Storage, or VAST Data.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, or similar automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
- Experience building observability and monitoring solutions for enterprise infrastructure.
