Job TitleIndustrial Engineer
Position OverviewLooking to make an impact beyond spreadsheets? Join Shaw Industries and help drive continuous improvement, cost savings, and operational excellence across multiple manufacturing facilities. In this role, you'll partner with plant leaders to analyze performance, improve processes, support budgeting and costing activities, and lead projects that directly impact the business.
What You'll Do- Support financial systems, budgeting, product costing, and operational reporting.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower costs.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering principles.
- Conduct data analysis and time studies to improve plant performance.
- Partner with plant leadership to drive operational excellence.
- Support inventory accuracy, fixed asset tracking, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Serve as a visible leader on the manufacturing floor and build strong relationships across the organization.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to complete Green Belt/Black Belt training.
- Experience in Industrial Engineering, Financial Systems, Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement preferred.
