  • Advise program and engineering leaders on software quality risk, process tailoring, objective evidence, and readiness for reviews.
  • Review software lifecycle data, traceability, problem reports, baselines, and certification or customer-delivery evidence.
  • Support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits while serving as a software quality subject-matter expert.
  • Mentor quality and engineering personnel and drive measurable improvements to software processes, metrics, and assurance practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of software quality assurance, software engineering, verification, compliance, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience auditing software lifecycle processes and evaluating objective evidence in a regulated environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of configuration management, requirements traceability, defect management, and corrective-action systems.
  • Experience interpreting plans, standards, contracts, and compliance requirements and translating them into audit criteria.
  • Ability to maintain independence, exercise sound judgment, and communicate difficult findings constructively.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, technical writing, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in UAS, aerospace, defense, avionics, flight controls, or other safety-critical software domains.
  • Deep familiarity with DO-178C software quality assurance objectives and related guidance, plus MIL-STD-882 safety processes.
