Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Senior Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing automation testing, developing robust software, and creating testable and maintainable code using a Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework. This role involves testing and coding User Interface (UI), Web services, and REST applications, as well as collaborating with application teams to develop automation frameworks and improve automation processes. The QA Senior Engineer will play a critical role in assessing product quality and release readiness within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans, data, procedures, and manual/automated scripts.
- Participate in formal reviews of application designs, business, and functional requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and write detailed reports on software issues.
- Identify and suggest quality process improvements focused on defect prevention.
- Create systems and business-relevant test cases to ensure test environments reflect business requirements.
- Assist in the development of in-house test tools and execute test scripts for complex projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish testing entrance and exit criteria.
- Define regression tests and production verification for future projects.
- Analyze and report test status and results, identifying and addressing test issues.
- Recommend strategies and methods to improve test plans and processes.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in automation development for UI and Web services automation; or Master's degree in a related field and one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and developing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Serenity BDD, and Page Object Model.
- Proficiency in Java and Groovy programming, Maven build scripts, and Oracle Database validation.
- Experience with ETL testing, Tableau dashboards, Unix commands, and file transfer tools like Putty and WinSCP.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline execution using Jenkins, Artifactory, and source control management tools like Git Stash or Bitbucket.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into Agile environments and using tools like JIRA-Xray for test case management.

Pay Range: $60 - $65 an hour on W2
