Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
As a Senior Systems Administrator you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our IT systems. You will oversee the infrastructure, address technical challenges, and implement solutions to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will contribute to the optimization and security of our systems, making a significant impact on the organization's technological capabilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing System Administration and SSP/Security support for the program in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems.
- Manage daily IT system configuration and operations.
- Assist users with IT systems access and usage.
- Monitor and resolve issues for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
- Communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and perform capacity planning.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, ensuring system integrity and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 10+ years of experience, or No degree with 15+ years of related professional experience and IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP)
- Experience providing Sr. Linux (Red Hat/Rocky/CentOS) and LatteArt / SSP, STE/STN support.
- Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications:
- Puppet, Ansible, FreeIPA, RedHat KVM, NetApp support, Support JIRA, Confluence.
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with Proxmox
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization tools.
