Job Description

The IT Manager will interface with operational management and end users to analyze and support internal system solutions. Ideal candidates will have the opportunity to support systems as well as work within a team and independently. As an IT Manager you will also provide support to a variety of point-of-service solutions including,but not limited to Point of Sale, credit card machines, and Hotel Property Management Systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Significant responsibility in system maintenance and supporting critical business applications
  • Adheres to consistent process and standardizations which enhance the overall IT value proposition
  • Responsible for proactive support and maintenance around Point of Sale systems
  • Responsible for proactive support and maintenance around network infrastructure and telecom services.
  • Provides technical support of the application, interfaces, and any customizations
  • Supervises support issues, ensures resolution plans and reports progress to management
  • Proactively maintains systems and carries out preventative maintenance plans
  • Supervises system status and reacts to issues as they arise
  • Work with users to define and evaluate business needs, challenges and inefficiencies that may be resolvedthrough automated solutions
  • Analyze, review, and alter systems, programs, and applications to increase operating efficiency or to adapt tonew requirements
  • Responsible for communicating any defects to vendors and application owners and for coordinating testingand implementation of fixes
  • Works closely with others to ensure service levels are being met and risk to the business is minimal
  • Communicates with site users regarding any system enhancements and or scheduled upgrades
  • Participates in technical and functional training classes as necessary or required

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Applications
  • Knowledge of Basic Networking
  • Requires strong analysis, organization, communications, interpersonal, customer service, problem-solvingand project management skills
  • Experience with hospitality customer technologies preferred
