Role Overview

We are seeking a IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale application deployments, IT transformation initiatives, and service transitions. This role partners closely with enterprise application leaders, business stakeholders, IT Service Management (ITSM) teams, and a centralized PMO to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and transitioned into stable operations aligned to business outcomes-not just technical execution.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone comfortable operating in Agile and Waterfall environments, navigating organizational change, and driving accountability across large, cross-functional teams while ensuring post-deployment service readiness and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise IT initiatives from initiation through deployment, stabilization, and service transition
  • Partner with enterprise application leaders, IT Service Management teams, and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, budgets, success criteria, and operational readiness
  • Drive project planning, prioritization, execution, and governance in alignment with PMO and ITSM standards
  • Ensure adherence to Goal Deployment Process (GDP), Project Delivery Process (PDP), and applicable IT Service Management practices
  • Manage day-to-day execution across all phases, including:
    • Accelerated Business Readiness (ABR)
    • Testing cycles and defect resolution
    • Deployment, hypercare, and post-implementation stabilization
  • Coordinate dependencies across:
    • Enterprise applications
    • Legacy systems and integrations
    • New technology deployments
    • Ongoing IT services and operational support teams
  • Partner with ITSM functions (Incident, Change, Release, and Service Delivery) to ensure:
    • Smooth transition from project to operations
    • Change readiness and governance alignment
    • Production stability post-go-live
  • Own project and service-readiness governance activities, including:
    • Risk and issue management
    • Resource forecasting and alignment
    • Status reporting and milestone tracking
    • Business readiness and benefit realization
  • Facilitate high-level meetings, drive alignment, and resolve delivery or operational conflicts quickly
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately to sponsors, the PMO, and ITSM leadership
  • Support audit readiness, compliance activities, and operational documentation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience delivering initiatives within enterprise application and/or IT Service Operations environments
  • Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise deployments and service transitions
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models
  • Hands-on Change Management experience
  • Familiarity with PMO governance frameworks (GDP, PDP, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of IT Service Management concepts (incident, change, release, service readiness)
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience partnering with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Service Management
  • Experience supporting post-go-live stabilization and production readiness
  • in large enterprise or regulated environments
