Description:

We are seeking a highly intelligent, driven, and solutions-oriented IT Product Manager to oversee and enhance our suite of financial applications. This role requires a unique blend of product management expertise, IT project management skills, and deep familiarity with financial services technology. Experience with Abrigo Sageworks-a lending and credit risk platform used by a majority of small to midsize financial institutions-is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Product Management
  • Own the product lifecycle for financial applications-from ideation and requirements gathering to delivery, enhancement, and ongoing support.
  • Develop product roadmaps aligned with business goals and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and deployment plans.
  • Continuously assess product performance, user feedback, and market trends to drive optimization.
IT Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and integration projects for financial systems.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and communication updates.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, budget, and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Partner with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and coordinate solutions.
Financial Services Application Ownership
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for core financial applications, including lending, credit risk, portfolio management, and compliance tools.
  • Oversee system configurations, permissions, workflows, and data governance.
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with financial regulations and business policies.
  • Provide functional support, training, and documentation for end-users across the organization.
Abrigo Sageworks Management
  • Lead administration and enhancement of Abrigo Sageworks modules (e.g., Lending, ALLL/CECL, Credit Risk).
  • Optimize Sageworks workflows, automated processes, templates, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure accurate credit data, modeling outputs, and portfolio insights.
  • Manage vendor relationships and serve as primary liaison for Sageworks support cases and releases.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in IT product management, IT project management, or similar technical leadership roles.
  • Proven experience working within financial services, such as banking, fintech, lending, credit risk, or regulatory tech.
  • Hands-on experience with Abrigo Sageworks (highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial workflows, credit processes, and risk management concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
